Russell the Sheep is a favourite little read for our emergent reader. He loves this story and delights in taking charge of family story time by reading about Russell the Sheep’s attempts to find his way to the land of nod.
Russell is written and illustrated by the very gifted and talented Rob Scotton. His attention to detail and little inclusions into his pictures are a big attraction for the children when reading this book. I love it that in a children’s book the phrase ‘… In fact, he thought so hard, his hat went ziggy-zaggy!’ can be so wonderfully at home.
This book is a step into the imagination of a very talented artist. A must have in your children’s library.
