What a fun day! It looks like it was nice and warm and sunny…oh how I wish it were like that here. I think the horrible winter blues have taken hold.

Looks like a lovely day. Re. Janie’s comment - there are all the Saints Day’s in the UK. We have Israeli Independence Day over here which is essentially a BBQ day!
Hi Lisa yes we have saints days but certainly in england we dont seem to celebrate them as much as aussies do in australia
St Georges day hardly gets a mention and St Patricks day is just an excuse for going out and getting very drunk.
Australia day seems to be a family day - our saints day most def are not ! lol
Hi Jenny ! I know this may be the wrong place to post this .. but I’m kind of in a bind and thought maybe you could help ?! .. I googled “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and came across your blog and the things you had made for your daughter. (Absolutely adorable !!!) I am currently taking college courses for Early Childhood Education and I have to make my own puppet by hand. I chose “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” because I absolutely love the story, and the character, of course .. but- long story short .. My husband and I have gotten everything put together, we just can’t figure out how to attach the head so that it is flat in the face like yours, and like the stuffed ones available at the book store. So- if you would kindly take a moment out of your busy personal life .. Please, please, PLEASE email me and let me know how you attached the head to your caterpillar. I would greatly appreciate it =D
