charlie and lola library bag ponderings

Posted by Jenny on Jan 20 2010 | Sewing

With The Little Bush Princess starting big school at the start of next month I’ve been busy getting together all that she will need to take this new big step.

On the list of things we need is a library bag. Without one there’s no borrowing from the library and that would be a tragedy for a book mad little lass!

I’ve given the library bag a lot of thought and I think I might adapt the technique I used to create the Charlie and Lola dolls to decorate the library bag.

Watch this space. I’ll keep pondering!

  2. My poor child has a manky old vinyl-y library bag as I am too lazy to actually make one. I did make a recorder bag though, but sadly it disappeared in the last term of Prep, so perhaps now is the time to get enthused and make one.

  3. I can’t wait to see the bag! I have a secret obsession with Charlie and Lola (I wish I’d thought of that whole thing!). The kids find me doing laundry with the show on and wonder!

  4. Little Bush Princess’s library bag sounds already like a marvellous one ! it is great to have reliable friends, such Charlie and Lola, to go to the library with (they can give her advices, such as : don’t borrow Goldilocks and the three bears, she is very hungry and eat every porridges left :) I cannot wait to see it ! xo
